Item description

The ASEAN travel site GoAsean rated Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park as one of seven national parks that travellers should visit in Southeast Asia. In July 2016, a performance week of sailboats on the Nhat Le River was hold to celebrate the upcoming traditional boat racing tournament that Thai and Lao teams will join.
The Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in Vietnam contains the oldest karst system in Asia, between 400-450 million years old. Riddled with hundreds of cave systems, most of the mountainous 885 sq km of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park is near-pristine tropical evergreen jungle. Son Doong Cave is in the heart of the Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. It is said to be 5.5 miles long, 650ft wide and 500ft tall and was created 2 - 5 million years ago by river water eroding limestone underneath a mountain. Son Doong is a jackpot of rare cave pearls formed over hundreds of years as water drips down, dries up and leaves layers of calcite crystals on grains of sand. Son Doong Cave is one of the world’s greatest underground hikes offering a number of unique environments to explore.
Inspected for shootings of the fairy movies ‘Peter Pan’ by Wanner Bros Feature Film (USA), hang En cave (Swallow cave) is the third largest cave over the world, after Son Doong cave, both in Vietnam and Deer cave in Malaysia. The Swallow Cave is 1.645 m long and has three mouths. One is halfway up a mountain and two others are located on another mountain which has its foot on the south-east and north-west alongside Rao Thuong Stream; which make the cave different from other well-known caves in the country.
Paradise Cave has the length of 31km, the longest dry cave in Asia. With a series of white crystal stalactites resembling glass pillars and many other spectacular formations, Paradise Cave looks like a landscape painting, making it very attractive to visitors. Dark cave is amazing and the true experience when you kayak over the river to get there, walk through the dark with only the head touch on your mining helmet, have a mud fight in the mud baths deep in the cave and then wash clean with a swim in the lake inside the cave.
Blessed with white sand and blue sea water and the wild beauty and famous for the charming beauty and attracting many tourists all around the country, Nhat Le beach is should not be missed when passing by central Vietnam. Visitors will have chance to take a walk alongside the romantic mirror-like Nhat Le River, let your soul leisurely “drift” with the rippling river waves, so as to feel a poetic sparkling Nhat Le and dip into the very cool, fresh and blue sea water. Tourists can travel around Bao Ninh seaside village, joining an interesting fishing festival, listening to the enchanting folk songs, contemplating a traditional gentle dance and enjoy lots of fresh seafood such as oysters, clams, scallops, snails, shrimp, crab, fish, squid... right on the beach.
